mimiTENS has been making mittens for kids with limb differences since 2015.
We are now set up for your to build your best set of mittens. 

Below is a listing of the styles and sizes of mittens with thumbs and flat mittens we are selling as singles. 
These listings are for ALL WEATHER MITTENS - these are nylon mittens lined with Thinsulate and a light fleece.

FABRIC CONTENT:

OUTSIDE:  mimiTENS ALL WEATHER MITTENS are three layers:

1) 420 denier water-repellent nylon. 
2) 200 gram 3M Thinsulate Insulation
3) Organic cotton/bamboo fleece that is custom knit for us here in Toronto.  

mimiTENS SLEEVES:

Our sleeves are custom knit for us in the USA.  They are a cotton and Lycra blend.

CARE:

Wash cold and either hang to try or tumble dry low. 
If you want, you can turn the sleeve inside out and then put the mittens on your heat vent over night.  That works really well!

DO NOT IRON.  DO NOT DRY CLEAN.

LIMB DIFFERENT SET Qs and As

Q1: What if we need a different size flat mittens for the limb difference?  Say my kid's hand is a size three, but the limb different arm is closer to a size one?  Can I have the size one flat?

A1: Absolutely.  And to be honest, this is a scenario we see often and that if why we set up our site like this.  You chose the best size for the left hand and then then the right.  By selecting single mittens, you are able to choose different sizes too.

Q2:  What if I need to order just a flat mitten? 

A2:  Yes, there is that option as well.  The flat mittens are listed separately in the limb differences mittens set section of the website and you can order just one. 

Q3: I am part of a community group that supports limb differences.  Do you do bulk orders?

A3:  Hit us up and let's see what we can do?

Q4:  I do not have a limb difference but I have a disability that would be helped with these mittens.  May I order them?

A4:  I have heard from people with severe arthritis and other circumstances where mittens are uncomfortable.  If you think that these can help you, please go ahead and order.

Q5:  Why is shipping so expensive in Canada?

A5:  We are a gigantic country with a relatively small population.
We have to ship limb different mittens with tracked shipping because the package is too big for standard mail.  There is a weight and dimension thresh-hold that sending three mittens exceeds for standard shipping.  

Q6: How long does it take to have these ship?

A7:  In order to manage the inventory, we need a few extra days to get these out.  We are pre-making the flat mittens and adding the sleeves as we received the requests.  Please give us up to a week because the factory needs to schedule time to do these.  Thanks.
